I have been a glass artist for 18 years with studios in Brisbane and Caloundra, Sunshine Coast.

I have been teaching for the last 10 years in Leadlighting, Copperfoiling & Mosaics.

We moved from 61 Bowman Road to 87b Bulcock Street Caloundra and the move has been incredible.  The interest from the locals and tourist has been amazing, with the type of business I have you need to be visible, people need to see what you do to know that they love it.  Glass is a visually appealing medium, its bright, beautiful, has a lot of depth and character and the movement and reflection with light behind or just on the glass is absolutely stunning.

My aim is to change the perception of stained glass, it is no long just for older homes.  I create a lot of contemporary and art deco designs for modern homes.  Coloured glass is to be enjoyed, it brightens any space.  If you own a colonial style home you may choose a traditional design but a modern home you may choose an abstract fish design for example.

I commission Leadlights for homes new & old, kitchens, businesses & churches.  Working with insurance companies and individuals with leadlights repairs and restorations.

I make slumped glass house numbers, signage and art panels for your home

whether it be for your kitchen, bathroom, bar room or a personalised gift,

anything you can think of can be created in glass.

I do commission Mosaic Murals for Commercial sites as well as pools and homes.  Glass of course is my preferred medium, the perception of glass is that it is sharp and you can cut yourself if used in mosaics but that is not the case if it is prepared and grouted properly. I work on walls and floor mosaics.  Glass has much more movement and depth in a mosaic rather than tiles.  It reflects light so looks and moves differently with its environment & time of day.

I engage the customer as much as possible in the whole process of any commission. Customer service and satisfaction is the highest priority to me.  We are creating a piece of artwork together and I want it to be a memorable experience.

In the shop everything is custom made, mirrors, lampshades, artwork.  You can choose from ready made pieces from $10 or have a piece made to your specific colour and design. We have a hobbies supply section that houses all mosaic & leadlight supplies

& materials such as tiles, glass, tools etc

We hold classes on a Monday, Tuesday & Friday mornings from 9.30 to 12.30pm in Leadlighting, Copperfoiling & Mosaicing & a full day Saturday class once a month. 

The classes are fantastic and very social! You can make a leadlight panel,

a lampshade or a mosaic mirror or anything else you would like.

Kids classes are held every holidays which I love doing.  It is a 3hr class including morning tea.  The kids make a MDF cutout (about 10 designs to choose from).  They learn the technique of mosaicing and complete their designs and take them home that day. The majority of my kids return every school holiday to do a new design. Classes are $40 all inclusive from ages 6+
